The invention relates to an examination device comprising a receptacle and a sample carrier that can be placed in the receptacle. The sample carrier has a carrier tray (10) for receiving chemical and/or biological samples. The carrier tray (10) has a receiving side (14), onto which the samples are placed and a base side (20) that lies opposite the receiving side (14). Supporting elements (22, 24, 26) for fixing into the receptacle of the examination device are provided on the base side (20) of the carrier tray (10). Receiving elements (28, 34, 42), which correspond with said supporting elements (22, 24, 26) are provided on the receptacle. |
