PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diversify the play without impairing the amusement of the play in a game machine having two variable display means for executing the variable display. SOLUTION: The probability of determining the control in a high-probability state is the same in the variable display with a first special symbol and in the variable display with a second special symbol in determining the variable display to be executed with the first special symbol and with the second special symbol respectively, and the high-probability game state is transferred to a jackpot game state based on the probability of determination with a different rate of a probability-variable jackpot to a sudden probability-variable jackpot which is determined when the play is controlled in the high-probability game state. A jackpot game state in which the play should be controlled is determined from among a plurality of jackpot game states including the probability-variable jackpot and the sudden probability-variable jackpot.
