A cylinder with a bidirectional locking structure is provided to lock a position of a piston rod at a predetermined position or to lock the position of the piston rod after automatically varying the position of the piston rod bidirectionally. A cylinder(100) with a bidirectional locking structure includes a cylinder body(10), a piston(20), a piston rod(21), and a locking body(30). The piston and the piston rod reciprocate in the cylinder body. The locking body is coupled to a central portion of the cylinder body and includes a locking device(40) for locking forward and backward movement of the piston rod. The locking device includes first lock ring(41) and second lock ring(42) which lock the piston rod in an opposite direction to each other by being pivot-coupled inside the locking body. The locking body includes a first port(33) for releasing the first lock ring and a second port(34) for releasing the second lock ring. |
