A system and a method for displaying customized exchange rate information are provided to enable a central server to distribute exchange rate/financial information to each exchange rate display terminal, and enable each exchange rate display terminal to select and display the desired exchange rate/financial information. An exchange rate display terminal database(101) includes a field for identifying each exchange rate display terminal. An exchange rate database(103) includes the field for at least one exchange rate and financial information. A data processor(105) transmits the exchange rate/financial information to each exchange rate display terminal according to a predetermined schedule by using the information stored in the exchange rate display terminal database and the exchange rate database. Each exchange rate display terminal displays the exchange rate/financial information of various countries to a display unit according to previous setting, which includes the countries for displaying the exchange rate, exchange rate contents, financial contents, and display order. |
