A preparation method of loess charcoal is provided to emit far-infrared ray healthful to human body by comprising elvan powder, and to reduce the exchange frequency for the charcoal by carrying out compress molding the loess charcoal during preparation process. A preparation method of loess charcoal comprises steps of: grinding loess and elvan powder; mixing 85% of the ground loess and 15% of the ground elvan powder; kneading the mixed loess and elvan powder with water; carrying out compress molding the kneaded mixture in a mold; drying the formed article in the shadow for 10 hours; heating the dried article for 5 minutes; and drying the heated article in the shadow for 2 hours. In the grinding step, the elvan powder is ground until obtaining particle size of 1mm-2mm. The loess having the size of fine sand particle is separated for the preparation. The prepared loess charcoal(90) has a few holes(21) of 10-30mm through the charcoal, and the number of the hole depends on the shape of the prepared charcoal.
