<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte film causing the same dimensional change as that of an electrode member caused by humidity variation. <P>SOLUTION: Dope including a solvent and a polymer which is a solid electrolyte is cast on a support to form a casting film 24, and then the casting film 24 is stripped from the support to obtain a wet film 25. In a first expansion-contraction drying process 18, while the wet film 25 is fixed at its both side ends with a fixing member and conveyed, tension of the desired direction and desired magnitude is applied to the wet film 25 and drying is sufficiently accelerated. The direction and magnitude of the tension are previously decided according to a rate of dimensional change obtained before and after the electrode member absorbs water. In a second expansion-contraction drying process 23, tension is applied to the wet film 25 same as in the first expansion-contraction drying process 18, and drying is sufficiently accelerated. A solid electrolyte film 26 causing the same dimensional change as that of the electrode member bonded to the surface is obtained. In a fuel cell in which the film 26 is stuck with the electrode member, peeling off on the interface caused by humidity variation is suppressed and drop in output is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
