<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction apparatus which can reproduce content data, a reproduction method and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The reproduction apparatus capable of reproducing the content data including voice data is equipped with: an instruction operating section 23 for detecting the instructing operation which instructs execution of a predetermined processing; a hold operating section for detecting the hold setting operation setting to such a status that the instructing operation to the instruction operating section is not accepted; a status control section 234 for setting to such a status that the instructing operation to the instruction operating section is not accepted when the hold setting operation is detected by the hold operating section; and a video processing section 250 for carrying out the processing for displaying the video.
