PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple imposition TFT substrate which actualizes reduction in manufacturing cost for manufacturing a liquid crystal display element by aligning a ferroelectric liquid crystal with the use of an electric field application slow cooling process, and to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The multiple imposition TFT substrate has a plurality of TFT substrate regions disposed on the substrate and is used for the liquid crystal display elements using the ferroelectric liquid crystal, wherein gate lines and source lines are insulated from each other.
