PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor rotor capable of attaining uniform forces in compressing laminated steel plates with an edge plate even when tightening forces of a rivet vary. SOLUTION: This motor rotor 55 includes a plurality of laminated steel plates 33, a pair of edge palates 57, 60, and a rivet 58. The plurality of laminated steel plates 33 have rivet holes, respectively. The pair of edge plates 57, 60 have rivet holes communicated with the rivet holes of the plurality of laminated steel plates 33. The pair of edge plates 57, 60 sandwich the plurality of laminated steel plates 33 in a laminating direction of the plurality of laminated steel plates 33. The rivet tightens the plurality of laminated steel plates 33 with the pair of edge plates 57, 60. A float portion 64 is formed in a predetermined range around the rivet hole in at least the edge plate 57 of the pair of edge plates 57, 60.
