PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which enables a user to easily retrieve a document by enabling the user himself or herself or another user to easily discriminate what a stored electronic file of images is, in the case that the user has stored image data obtained by scanning a document or the like, as the electronic file. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a storage device 140 wherein image data obtained by scanning the document and task information relating to the user are stored in association with each other, a user authentication part 131 which identifies the user, a task acquisition part 132 which acquires task information relating to the user identified by the user authentication part 131, and an image presenting part 133 which presents image data relating to task information acquired by the task acquisition part 132.
