PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation error processing method for, even when any error is generated during the installation of certain software, performing the installation of the other software. SOLUTION: An installer which continuously installs a plurality of software detects an error during the installation of software. The installation of software causing the error is interrupted, and installation is resumed from the installation of software which has been scheduled to be installed next to the software causing the error. Furthermore, when there is any parentage in the plurality of software, the parentage is recorded. When the installation of the master software of the software scheduled to be installed is not completed, the installation of the software scheduled to be installed is interrupted.
