PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens assembly capable of coupling respective optical signals individually and easily constituting an optical system having a plurality of lens surfaces in a multichannel optical communication. SOLUTION: The lens assembly 10 comprises two convex lens parts 13, 14 which are disposed between a plurality of aligned light transmission paths 61 and a plurality of photoelectric elements 62 aligned corresponding to the light transmission paths 61 and transmitting or receiving the optical signals, and couple the optical signals between the respective light transmission paths 61 and the respective photoelectric elements 62 individually, wherein two lens blocks 15, 16 in which the convex lens parts 13, 14 are disposed in cylindrical blocks are formed and the two lens blocks 15, 16 are joined to each other.
