PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a position of a mobile object, which eliminates the need for measuring all positions of a plurality of IC tags, in advance, utilizes the plurality of IC tags such that they are attached and detached easily, and can grasp the position of the mobile object by utilizing the plurality of IC tags. SOLUTION: A tool for measuring the position of the mobile object, wherein the plurality of IC tags and at least two targets are arranged in a predetermined positional relation is provided, and positions of at least two of the targets in the tool for measuring the position of the mobile object are measured, thereby enabling grasping of the positions of the plurality of IC tags; and at the same time, the mobile object whose position should be measured, receives an electric wave from an IC tag in the plurality of IC tags, and the position of the IC tag whose electric wave is received, is grasped, thereby the position of the mobile object is measured.
