PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous paper impact printer capable of appropriately printing continuous paper type multi-part paper on which color developing has been lightly generated caused by the weight of the paper or the like on the continuous paper type multi-part paper having been stored for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A bar code indicating the number of the multi-part paper and a time when storing is started is added on an outer box for the paper. When a time for reading and printing the bar code has passed through a certain period of time, printing is performed by increasing a hitting force. In another way, before the printing is started, a condition of the continuous paper type multi-part paper is confirmed by a user, and the printing is controlled so as to interrupt depending on the condition of the paper.
