PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot game machine capable of preventing contact with a rotary reel to prevent an obstacle to a game progress resulting from the contact. SOLUTION: A protect bar 20 formed into a rod extending in a widthways direction of the rotary reel 61 is disposed near the outer periphery of the reel 61 and longitudinally along a lower edge of a reel window 42, thereby preventing the hand H or the arm K, inserted in a space between the reel 61 and a hopper unit 3 or the like, or a metal tool such as a token shovel S or a driver, from being brought into contact with the outer periphery of the reel 61. Accordingly, even when the space between the reel 61 and the hopper unit 3 or the like is narrow, the hand H, the arm K or the like, inserted in the space, is brought into no contact with the outer periphery of the reel 61.
