PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat for an automobile provided with appropriate peeling resistance, waterproofness and required sound absorption performance in the floor mat for he automobile for which a carpet layer with undulation by pile on the back surface and a gas permeable waterproof layer are bonded together. SOLUTION: The floor mat 100 for the automobile has at least the carpet layer 10 with the undulation by the pile 12 on the back surface 10b, the gas permeable waterproof layer 30 arranged on the back side of the carpet layer, and an adhesive layer 20 bonding the back surface 10b of the carpet layer and the waterproof layer 30 together, and the adhesive layer 20 is formed in a mesh shape or a line shape. An adhesive 22 is extruded from an extruder M10 and stuck to the back surface 10b of the carpet layer or the waterproof layer 30 and the back surface 10b of the carpet layer and the waterproof layer 30 are bonded together while forming the adhesive layer 20 in the mesh shape or the line shape to manufacture the floor mat 100.
