PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of yarn break in a normal block when abnormality occurs in a construction in which a frame is divided into a plurality of blocks, a sucking device constituting a fiber bundle-converging device is installed in each block, and each motor installed in each of the sucking devices is driven by a common inverter. SOLUTION: The spinning machine is constituted as follows. The fiber bundle-converging device is equipped with a duct having a negative pressure caused by a sucking device equipped with the motor 47 installed in each block, and the sucking part is connected to the duct through a connecting tube. Each motor 47 is electrically connected with the common inverter 53 through a contactor 54 of each motor 47, and controlled by a controller 57 through the inverter 53. A pressure sensor 56 for detecting the abnormality related to the overload of the motor 47, and contactor-regulating means 55 for determining the presence or absence of the abnormality based on the detected signal of the pressure sensor 56 and switching the contactor 54 of the block responding to the abnormality to a noncontact state are installed in each of the blocks.
