A first inner tubular part (2) inserts into a second outer tubular part (1) with little play. The inner tubular part links to the outer tubular part through mechanical reshaping with no gaps and in a non-positive manner. The mechanical reshaping consists of a roll-in process. By using a rolling tool fitted with an overdimension and moving in the inner tubular part, the inner tubular part undergoes a plastic expansion and the outer tubular part undergoes an elastic expansion. An independent claim is also included for a high-pressure storage tube as a composite tube up to pressures of 1,800 bar for fuel injection in common-rail systems.
