<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the generation of a moving path and the movement along the moving path, by which moving path, the shapes or their combinations in a laser beam cutting-off operation for cutting off a round hole, an elongated hole, a square hole, a corner loop portion, a micro joint portion, and a profile shape, etc. can be quickly and accurately cut off while avoiding mechanical shocks. <P>SOLUTION: An accelerating section 104 is provided expediently between a moving path section 102, in which the laser beam machining is not carried out, and a cutting-off path section 106, in which the laser beam machining is carried out.
