<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve virtual display and the obstacle detection of a virtual display section by simple configurations, and to achieve obstacle detection with high position precision. <P>SOLUTION: This display detection device is provided with a light emission light source 1A for emitting visible rays of light 10A; an image formation optical system 2 for forming the image of the light emission part of the light emission light source 1A, and for displaying a virtual emission part 4A on a free space; and a light detector 3 for, when there exists an obstacle 5 in the neighborhood of the virtual light emission part 4A, detecting the rays of light emitted by the light emission light source 1A, and distributed/reflected by the obstacle 5. The light source for virtual display and the light source for obstacle detection are made common so that this display detection device can be configured of the smaller number of components compared with the case using different light sources, and made compact. The image of the light emission part is formed of the image formation optical system 2 to detect an obstacle so that only when the obstacle 5 comes to the neighborhood of the specific position on the free space, it is possible to highly precisely detect this. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
