PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for attaining low resistance of laminated type PTC thermistor while keeping high PTC property. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of a laminated type thermistor having positive resistance temperature property, a semiconductor ceramic layer and an inner electrode made up of Ni-based metal are laminated by turns, and the inner electrode and an external electrode connected electrically to the inner electrode are included. The semiconductor ceramic layer is constituted from a sintered body, which contains compound shown as a composition formula(1): (Ba<SB>1-w-x</SB>Sr<SB>w</SB>RE<SB>x</SB>)<SB>α</SB>TiO<SB>3</SB>+βSiO<SB>2</SB>+zMnO. The raw materials about Ba, Sr, RE, Ti, Si of the semiconductor ceramic layer are heated and maintained at a predetermined temperature, and a temporarily sintered body is obtained, and then the obtained body is pulverized. Raw material for Mn of the semiconductor ceramic layer and binder, are added to the obtained pulverized powder.
