PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive unit in which the outer circumferential part of a spring can be joined and fixed to its adjacent member with an adhesive without impairing the function of the arm of the spring, and to provide a camera and a mobile phone with a camera. SOLUTION: In the lens drive unit 1, an adhesive injection hole 6b is provided to a housing 6. Using the adhesive injected from the adhesive injection hole 6b of the housing 6, the outer circumferential part 9b of the spring 9 is joined to its adjacent members, namely, a yoke 3 and the housing 6. In the outer circumferential part 9b of the spring and in an area between the position 18 facing the adhesive flow-in hole 6b and the connection end 21 of the arm part 9c of the spring 9, a narrow width part 23 is formed so that a width between the internal circumferential edge or external circumferential edge of the outer circumferential part 9b of the spring 9 is narrowed.
