PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of furnace inside gas from a shaft seal part arranged in a waste incinerator, a gasification furnace body and an ancillary apparatus. SOLUTION: A shaft seal mechanism comprises ground packing arranged in a ground box 14, and a sealant ring 20 fitted in a shaft in an intermediate part in the axial direction of this ground packing, and also has: a leakage gas detecting means 17c transmitting a warning by specifying the leaked shaft seal mechanism when detecting a furnace inside gas component by detecting the furnace inside gas component included in gas by pulling in the peripheral gas of the shaft seal mechanism by a conduit 17b; and a sealant supply means for supplying a sealant to the sealant ring 20 from a sealant supply port 25 arranged in the ground box 14. The sealant supply means is constituted so as to supply the sealant to the corresponding shaft seal mechanism with an output signal of the leakage gas detecting means 17c as input.
