PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place an exhaust assist device for a kitchen to improve exhausting performance in discharging odor of contaminated water steam, oily smoke, smoke and the like generated in a heating cooker, on a cooking table at a rear part of the heating cooker. SOLUTION: This exhaust assist device for the kitchen constituted by disposing a fan and a motor for the fan in a casing provided with a supply opening at its top face and a suction opening at its lower part, and disposing a cover/blowout-airflow guide plate for opening and closing the blowout port and guiding the blowout airflow rotatably upward on a rotational support of a rear side of the blowout port in such a state that its erection angle is variable, to guide the blowout airflow to the range hood at the upper part of the heating cooker by the cover/blowout-airflow guide plate erected in operation, is placed on the cooking table at the rear part of the heating cooker, thus the exhausting performance of the existing range hood can be improved.
