PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head capable of preventing the occurrence of a satellite while stabilizing the ejecting action, and then preventing the deviation of the flying direction, and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: This liquid jet head includes a nozzle corresponding to a liquid channel. The liquid jet head includes a structural body which is placed in the nozzle and is axis-symmetrical around the center axis of the nozzle. The structural body includes a first structural part in a pillar-shape, and a second structural part having a tip portion the cross-sectional area of which is gradually reduced toward the ejection outlet of the nozzle.
