PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper mounted on a tip end of a fork having an element of a spring, without breaking other stacked carrying objects when the fork carries large planar-shaped stacked carried objects, with a simple sheet-metal structure. SOLUTION: There is provided a bumper for cushioning mounted on the tip end of a fork-like hand on which carried objects fitted to an arm such as a transport robot is placed, the bumper being a sheet-like structure having at least one or more folding parts in an advancement direction of the carried objects of the fork-like hand.
