Disclosed is a novel method for producing a transformed plant by using an Agrobacterium. As one of the characteristics, the transformation method comprises: (i) a co-culture step for culturing a plant tissue inoculated with an Agrobacterium in a co-culture medium containing 3,6-dichloro-o-anisic acid, 4-amino-3,5,6-trichloropicolinic acid and/or 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid; and (ii) a re-differentiation step for culturing the tissue obtained in the step (i) in a re-differentiation medium containing a selective drug to cause the re-differentiation of the tissue, and does not comprise a selection step for culturing the co-cultured tissuein a culture medium containing an auxin to drug-select the resulting transformant between the co-culture step and the re-differentiation step. |
