<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is improved in usability for paper jamming processing by changing a paper jamming processing procedure for a display section by the position of a paper sheet and the temperature of a fixing unit when the paper jamming occurs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has: the display section for informing information; a sensor for detecting the paper sheet on a conveyance path; a temperature detecting means for detecting the temperature of the fixing unit; and a control means for judging the jam of the paper sheet. On the display section, either of a first display for showing a paper removal procedure including the information of the temperature or a second display for showing a paper removal procedure not including the information of the temperature is displayed and when the control means judges that the paper sheet is jammed, the control means judges that either of the first display or the second display which is displayed on the display section is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
