<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub apparatus which can be used together with a bathtub and enables a bather to exercise in a relaxed state. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub apparatus 11 is provided with a bathtub 12, an upper body swing means 13 for swinging the upper body of a bather M, and a hip swing means 14 for swinging the hip of the bather M. A part of the upper body swing means 13 is arranged on the back side face 12a of the bathtub 12, and a part of the hip swing means 14 is arranged on the foot side face 12b of the bathtub 12. Then, when the upper body swing means 13 and the hip swing means 14 are linked to change the bathing posture of the bather M, the posture of the bather M becomes unbalanced.
