<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel thermotherapy apparatus for forming a substantially uniform heating distribution in respective parts of a human body from the body surfaces to the depth parts including an affected part using high frequency. <P>SOLUTION: This high-frequency thermotherapy apparatus comprises a pair of coils for forming a high-frequency magnetic field, a pair of electrodes for forming a high-frequency electric field, and a high-frequency power source, employs induction heating coils as the coils and induction heating screen-like or dendritic electrodes for preventing a high-frequency eddy current as the electrodes, and executes dielectric heating and induction heating simultaneously or alternately at some time interval difference. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
