PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide adhesive tape for securing the winding edge of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor by which capacitance is not decreased because of loose winding of a capacitor element even under an atmosphere of high temperature when it is used for the aluminum electrolytic capacitor and to provide the aluminum electrolytic capacitor using it. SOLUTION: The tape for securing the winding edge of the aluminum electrolytic capacitor element is composed of a support base material and an adhesive layer.
