PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent scrolling instruction from being continuously issued when a mobile terminal device having a scroll mode to scroll a map image in accordance with the inclination of the device main body is being set to an inclination scroll mode and left in an inclined state. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal device 20 comprises: an inclination scroll mode setting means 210; a display means 212 for displaying a map; an inclination detecting means 204 for detecting inclination; an inclination displacement detecting means 205 for detecting the displacement of the inclination according to the detection output of the inclination detecting means 204; and a scroll requesting means 213 for outputting request for scrolling to scroll the map image displayed on a display means 212 according to the displacement of the inclination detected by the inclination displacement detecting means 205; and, further, a scroll restricting means 214 for restricting, when the inclination scroll mode is activated and the inclination displacement detecting means 205 detects the displacement of the inclination of the mobile terminal device 20 main body, the request for scrolling from the scroll requesting means 213.
