PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling tool for a cross-flow fan capable of being comparatively easily and inexpensively manufactured while reducing the number of parts without impairing a function of suppressing noise or vibrations generated due to rotations of the cross-flow fan, and comparatively easily attached to a side surface member; and the cross-flow fan equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The shaft coupling tool for the cross-flow fan has a boss portion 11 coupling a rotating shaft, and the side surface member of the cross-flow fan is attached to an outer edge area 12b surrounding the boss portion 11. The coupling tool 10 has the boss portion 11, and a plate member 12 to which the boss portion 11 is assembled as a separated body. In the plate member 12, a revolving portion 12w is formed between a cylindrical portion 12a holding the boss portion 11 and the outer edge area 12b. The revolving portion 12w is provided with a flexible area E having a plurality of slits S1, S2 curving and extending in the same direction as a radiating direction from the boss portion 11, and capable of deforming and restoring.
