PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize dispensing machine capable of being refilled with prizes in a short time and allowing recognition of the number of prizes in a cassette in a certain accuracy. SOLUTION: When a lift mechanism(14a and 14b) lifts a prize (1) in a containing section (9), the raising position of a lift member (13) is controlled by a raising control means (55) so that the one of the prizes which is located in the highest position of the prizes is positioned on a predetermined feeding position. The prize (1) positioned on a predetermined feeding position is fed one by one sequentially. The raising distance from the lowest position of the lift member(13) to the raising position is calculated by a raising distance calculating means (81). A reference distance for the lift member (13) is stored in a storing means (82).
