PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively form a corner cut line. SOLUTION: A welting machine includes corner knife mechanisms 100A and 100B mounted at both ends of a straight cut line which can form a corner cut line between the ends of two straight seams and ends of the straight cut line; and orthogonally crossing directional position input means for inputting the information for determining the position of the corner cut line in the direction orthogonally crossing the fabric feeding direction relative to the straight seams or straight cut line. Each corner knife mechanism has a positioning motor 121 for moving a corner knife in the cross direction, and a control means 80 for controlling the positioning motor so that the distance of one end on the straight cut line side of the corner knife has the preset distance to the straight cut line.
