<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin, containing a component having excellent humectant activity, antiaging activity, bleaching activity or the like and originated from a natural product, and to provide a functional oral composition. <P>SOLUTION: The external preparation for the skin contains blue-green algae of Chroococcaceae or an extract thereof. The functional oral composition contains the blue-green algae of the Chroococcaceae or the extract thereof.
