<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte battery in which an active substance containing Mn is used for a cathode and propylene carbonate for a solvent, and a deterioration of the cathode is prevented and a gas generation due to decomposition of an electrolyte on a side of the cathode is reduced and a battery internal resistance is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte battery provided with a cathode using an active substance containing Mn, for example, a lithium containing manganese oxide or a compound oxide in which a part of manganese of the lithium containing manganese oxide is substituted by other element and propylene carbonate for a solvent, vinyl ethylene carbonate, 1,3-butadiene ethylene carbonate, divinyl ethylene carbonate or the like are added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
