<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition securing a long period preservation stability, and excellent in continuous ejection property, the hue of an image obtained by curing and close adhesion to a substrate material, a method of an inkjet-recording by using the ink composition and printed matter obtained by the inkjet-printing method. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition is provided by containing (A) an N-vinyl lactam, (B) another polymerizable compound, (C) a polymerization initiator and (D) a basic compound, and containing <15 wt.% N-vinyl lactam (A) based on the total weight of the ink composition.
