<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which is improved in reproducibility of a driving signal COM when a driving waveform signal is pulse-modulated and then amplified by a digital power amplifier to output a driving signal. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink-jet printer, by outputting a pulse modulation reference signal COMrst for specifying a pulse modulation timing of the driving waveform signal WCOM to a modulation circuit, the driving signal COM can be reproduced into the driving waveform signal WCOM. If the pulse modulation of the driving waveform signal WCOM is implemented by pulse duration modulation, a triangular wave phase reference signal for specifying the phase of a triangular wave signal is output as the pulse modulation reference signal COMrst. If the pulse modulation of the driving waveform signal WCOM is implemented by pulse density modulation, a reset signal for resetting a modulation sequence or a modulation parameter is output as the pulse modulation reference signal COMrst. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
