PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nano fiber-producing apparatus which can control an air flow formed on the rotation of a rotator collector to obtain a highly oriented nano fiber. SOLUTION: This nano fiber-producing apparatus including a nozzle for jetting a solution of a fiber material in a volatile solvent, a rotator collector, and a high voltage electric source for applying a high voltage between the nozzle and the rotator collector is characterized in that an air flow-controlling means for inhibiting the disturbance in the orbit of a spinning jet discharged from the nozzle and directed to the rotator collector 6 by an air flow formed on the surface of the rotator collector 6 by the rotation of the rotator collector 6 is disposed in the nano fiber-producing apparatus, wherein the air flow-controlling means can be a hood cover 30 having an opening 30a for exposing the side facing the nozzle of the rotator collector 6 and spatially dividing a portion projected from the opening 30a and other portions.
