<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a liquid crystal display with protrusions for liquid crystal alignment control which is excellent in electric characteristics and light shielding properties without impairing resolution properties and heat resistance, and to provide the liquid crystal display using the substrate for the liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: In the substrate for the liquid crystal display provided with the protrusions for alignment control on a transparent substrate, the protrusions for alignment control are constituted of a cured product of a photosensitive resin composition containing at least an organic pigment, a dielectric tangent of the cured product of the photosensitive resin composition is ≤0.015 in the range of a driving frequency of the liquid crystal display and the content of the organic pigment is 5 to 70 wt.% to the cured product of the photosensitive resin composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
