PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation to access a connection type recording medium. SOLUTION: An information processor includes a USB controller 14 to which a USB memory 22 as the connection type recording medium is connected, an operation unit 13 which accepts an input operation to indicate access to the USB memory 22, and a system microcomputer 11 which decides whether the USB memory 22 to be accessed is connected to the USB controller 14 once the access indication is input and then performs processing corresponding to the access indication once it is decided that the USB memory 22 is connected.
