PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a shielding shell. SOLUTION: In a state in which a hood part 14 of a male housing 10 is outer-fitted into a terminal housing part 21, a male side shieldeding shell 16 provided inside the hood part 14 goes into a gap with an outer periphery of the terminal housing part 21 and an inner peripheral of a female side shielding shell 28 to be connected to the female side shieding shell 28. Since a protection wall 30 placed further forward than a front end of the female side shielding shell 28 is fitted at the terminal housing part 21, there is no risk that the female side shielding shell 28 is deformed by interference of the hood part 14 or the like from the front side. And also, an insertion hole 31 for permitting ingression of the male side shielding shell 16 is formed on the protection wall 30. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
