PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the space of an operation mechanism part using an opening spring for an electromagnetic actuator. SOLUTION: This switch is provided with: vacuum valves 5 each having a pair of electrodes 3 and 4 capable of contacting to and separating from each other; wiping springs 14 each applying a contact load in contact; insulation pipes 30 and 36 with the vacuum valves 5 and the wiping springs 14 housed therein; and operation mechanism parts 1c fixing the insulation pipes 30 and 36, and opening/closing the vacuum valves 5. The switch is characterized in that each operation mechanism part 1c is composed of: the opening spring 38 housed in a first yoke 39 facing the insulation pipe 36, and energized in a direction separating the electrodes 3 and 4 from each other; and the electromagnetic actuator having, in a second yoke 41 continuously connected to the first yoke 39, a permanent magnet 20, an armature 19 and solenoid coil 21 and 22.
