PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device having a wide tolerance for misalignment with a simple structure, having improved attachment accuracy of a bearing part, suppressing the early breakage of the bearing part, then, extending the life of the device, moreover, preventing an abnormal noise in operation of the device. SOLUTION: The fixing device is configured to freely rotatably support a rotating member by a rolling ball bearing constituted by arraying a plurality of balls 4 between the track surfaces of an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3. The inside diameter surface of the inner ring 2 is a convex spherical shape along the axial direction, and the cross section in the axial direction has a single circular arc shape, the radius of the circular arc is 0.5 to 50 times as large as the diameter of the ball 4, the shaft part 8a of the single diameter of the rotating member is fitted to the inside diameter of the inner ring, the rotating member functions as a fixing roller 8 with a built-in heater 9, for fixing the toner on a printing paper.
