PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article storage facility capable of increasing traction force while attaining simplification and miniaturization of a constitution of a rotational drive section and preventing large load from being applied to a wire. SOLUTION: The rotational drive section 37 is constituted by a rotational drive body 37 wound by the wire 36 so as to be upwardly stretched. A rotation body support 49 for supporting a rotation body 48 for pressing a pair of wires arranged along an outer peripheral direction of the rotational drive body 37 while corresponding to a wire existence area at lower part side of the rotational drive body 37 is provided in the state that it is supported on a support frame 50 shakably in a distance direction relative to the rotational drive body 37 making a position corresponding to a gap between support portions of the pair of rotation body 48 and in the state that it is urged by an elastic body 51 in a direction approaching to the rotational drive body 37.
