PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile game control device capable of freely connecting a plurality of kinds of memory boards with different capacities and connecting a plurality of memory boards to one game control board; and a game machine equipped with the game control device. SOLUTION: First decoding circuits 125 and 135 for generating signals to select one of a plurality of ROMs are disposed in memory boards 120 and 130, and a second decoding circuit 101 for generating signals to select one of the plurality of memory boards is disposed in a relay board 100 which connects the plurality of memory boards to a presentation control board 43. ID information indicating their own storage capacities are stored in the memory boards 120 and 130.
