The cryogenic storage device (100) is arranged with sampled data in a very low-temperature environment. A data processing device (10) is arranged for processing the sampled data in a very low-temperature environment. An opto-electrical transducer mechanism (20) is provided to operate in the very low-temperature environment. An energy store mechanism (40) is connected with an opto-electrical transducer mechanism, and has an energy store element. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a cryogenic storage device.
