The vehicle seating has a cover (24) and a headrest (6) that has a headrest rod (12,14) arranged in a displaceable fashion in a guide (8,10) that is fixed to the backrest (4). The headrest rod is guided through a cover passage (16) placed in a cut-out (20,22) of the cover. The cover passage is made of a part extending over the cut-out of the cover and another part, which is connected to the former part and extends under the cut-out of the cover.
