<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of calibrating a part packaging apparatus capable of automatically performing needed calibration to all nozzle holding sections that a transfer head has. <P>SOLUTION: A process includes: fitting a sample to a nozzle holding section where a suction nozzle has been removed for mounting detachably; setting the rotational angle of the nozzle holding section to a prescribed rotational angle and then mounting the sample on an inspection plane; and detecting the positional misalignment between the actual mount position of the sample mounted on the inspection plane and a target position by image recognition. The process is repeated for a plurality of times by changing the rotational angle of the nozzle holding section when the sample is mounted on the inspection plane. In this case, the sample is mounted on the inspection plane in the above final process to be performed with the nozzle holding section as a target while the rotational angle of the nozzle holding section is set to an initial value (0 degree). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
